The 3M™ Versaflo™ Supplied Air Regulator (V-500E)
High Constant Flow Rate
The lightweight, belt-mounted regulator delivers high airflow rates (170 to 305 litres per minute), making the V-500E supplied air regulator ideal for hot, strenuous, and confined welding conditions.
Because You Only Have One Pair of Lungs
The 3M V-500E regulator provides a required minimum protection factor of 100+ for mechanically and thermally generated particles, conforming strictly to Australian & New Zealand Standard AS/NZS1716.
Exclusive Airflow Pattern
The respiratory regulator evenly distributes a constant level of clean air throughout the entire breathing zone. An integrated diffuser spreads out the airflow pattern for maximum operator comfort.
Breathing Air Filtration for Welding
The air supply (supplied via a workshop compressor) must be of breathable quality meeting the performance standards of AS/NZS1716. Oil mist, water vapour, and non-toxic odours are safely removed from the compressed air line through a breathing air filtration system that connects directly to the V-500E regulator via a breathable air hose.
Self-Adjusting Quick Release Breathing Tube
The Quick Release Swivel (QRS) connection allows for effortless, one-handed attachment and release. The self-adjusting length ensures the breathing tube stays tucked close to the welder’s body to prevent dangerous snagging on surrounding steel or equipment.
